"Eso Kichu Kori" selected 24 students under Project MEDHA and rewarded them with a package comprising all the books for std. XI, exercise books, practical exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, one scientific calculator and a school-bag. A 'Certificate of Merit' was issued to each of them.

Out of these 24 Stars, EKK selected 2 students who will be provided further support throughout their study. These 2 are Nanda Dulal Das of Bankura (Secured 90.3% in Madhyamik, 2007) and Tridib Ray of Bardhaman (Secured 87.1% in Madhyamik, 2007).

Shibu Tudu, from Ilampur village of Hooghly district. His mother died in Cancer, Father is suffering from paralyses.Shibu has been selected in Bengal Engineering and Science University (BESU),Shibpur in Civil Engineering.

EKK is proud of Shibu’s achievements and decided to support him in his endeavor to become an Engineer under the their new project SOPAN.

Subrata Barman from Rayganj, Uttar Dinajpur District of West Bengal.A mason by profession.He secured 95% in Madhyamik Examination.Subrata appeared Higher Secondary examination this year.He required some books just few months before his final examination.In the initiative of Eso Kichu Kori some of its members from this country and abroad extended support with in a very short time.Subrata has been selected in Calcutta Medical College.EKK is proud of Subrata’s achievements and decided to support him in his endeavor to become a doctor under the their new project SOPAN.

Hridoy Bhattacharjee got 85.6% in Higher Secondary 2006.He belongs to Bamunaray,near Durgapur.He started the course in Chemistry (Hons) in St Xavier's College through direct admission. Though his education after his Madhyamik continued mainly through financial supports from some lion hearted donors ,with ailing parents back home and annual family income of Rs 6000 it was becoming difficult for him to continue the course. His hostel charge was monthly Rs 2000.Though the college authority waived the tuition fees but this hostel charge was not waived.The founder members of E K K took the burden on their shoulder and shared his expenses. After few initial months one of the members of the community took entire financial responsibility of education of Hridoy and presently he is performing extremely well.We wish him all the success.
