PROJECT : SOPAN

Project SOPAN is aimed at promoting exceptional talents of economically backward communities towards a successful and contributory professional life. Engineers and Doctors are known to be the most recognized professionals whose contributions are often directly linked with the day-to-day life of an individual. It is seen that there are numerous Government scholarships for such students but they are awarded after a considerable time from the date of admission. Moreover, the amount required for admission fees, tuition fees and boarding charges for hostels are beyond the capacity of such students.

Under this project we are supporting one Medical and one Engineering student each year till he/she gets sufficient aid from Government sources.

• The entire support is based on the following criteria:

• The student must be from an economically backward section.

• The student must qualify the joint entrance examination with a good enough rank for admission in a Govt. Engineering/Medical college.

• He/she must be ready to participate in the activities of EKK as volunteer.
